| Berlin, May 10, 2017 – Striving to provide an innovative alternative to the staid travel trade events traditionally aimed at the MICE market, this May sees the launch of Design Hotels™ CO-LAB MICE Edition. CO-LAB is an inspiring forum where leaders and visionaries of the MICE industry will engage with carefully selected luxury lifestyle and boutique properties from the Design Hotels™ portfolio. Taking place at the Almyra in Paphos, Cyprus, CO-LAB will play host to 25 member hoteliers representing 65 properties in 42 destinations, combining both major city hubs as well as some off-the-beaten-track gems. |

From May 11 – 14, CO-LAB MICE Edition will provide an innovative platform for meeting and event bookers to engage with some of the leading independent and inspirational luxury boutique hotels from around the world. Over the course of four days, a comprehensive program of informative meetings, as well as carefully curated activities and events, will create a unique marketplace which will encourage participants to build and maintain strong corporate networks and loyal business relationships. One-on-one meetings between hoteliers and MICE industry insiders are hosted in a series of hip and relaxed settings, from a state-of-the-art catamaran yacht to a beach with spectacular views over the Mediterranean.
Paying heed to the adage about all work and no play, the social aspects of the forum have been carefully crafted to allow participants to experience the destination in an original manner. Whether sharing a meal prepared by one of the region’s best known fishermen in a rustic beach shack or partying with a renowned music producer in his private villa, each experience is a celebration of the Cypriot way of life and provides a fertile foundation for collaboration.
